Principal Responsibilities:

The Stamford JCC Performing Arts Department is seeking a passionate and talented individual to join the production team of our SPRING MUSICAL as SOUND BOARD OPERATOR. The Sound Board Op will mix microphone levels and execute sound cues/backing tracks for Singin' in the Rain JR. during the tech, dress rehearsal, and performance on APRIL 18 & 19, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Operate the sound board during tech and the performance, manage microphone levels, and execute licensed sound cues/backing tracks.

Be available for all of tech (4/18/26) and the performance (4/19/26) in Stamford, CT

Tech our show (run time: approx. 60 minutes) in 8 hours.

Have patience and a good attitude (working with children!)

Have one preliminary meeting with the production team

Qualifications:

Experience working with school-aged students preferred

3 years of professional experience or proficient undergraduate experience

Proficiency in sound control systems

Must have experience managing microphone volume levels and mixing to produce high sound quality during performance

Ability to liaise in a professional manner with performers and crew

Available all-day April 18-19, 2026

Salary:

Salary begins at $500; additional compensation commensurate with experience.
